Here's the facts, guys.

Okay so Kiryu's a time traveller! YAY. Or not.
See, just like Homura in PMMM, Kiryu gets to live over a certain time period over and over and over again. For Homura, it was one month. For Kiryu? Three-four years. From the time when he formed Team Satisfaction, to the time of the Signer War.
He gets to meet his Team over and over again, forming them and saving Satellite and making it better only to end up having to send himself back again and have to do it all over again.
He ends up watching Yuusei die trying to intercept Security for him the first reset. That, in fact, is what causes him to reset that timeline.
He's seen each of them die multiple times by now, and he's come to realise that it never hurts any less, and it was earlier on than that that he realised that he didn't ever want any of them to die in the first place.
Since there's a three year gap between what's usually the end of Team Satisfaction and the Signer War, he's spent several timelines during that point learning new things; he's well read to a point (in the things that interest him), he's a very good D-Wheeler, he can cook, do his own clothes and various other things. Due to where he stays in that period, he could probably hold a conversation with Yuusei, Rex or Rudger or on how Momentum works, and general science of that level.
Strange, but true.
His overall attitude is one of grim, stubborn determination masked by bright smiles and a light, playful tone. He WILL NOT give up. He will do what he set out to do, or die trying. And he won't be satisfied with dying. He tends to focus on the moment quite a lot, though, hoping that this time, it'll be the right one. The effects are there, however, despite his smile. His blue hair has faded from what it used to be (it's more white or gray than blue now!), and by the point I'm rping him from, his eyes look old. Really old.
He is, after all, several hundred years old, give or take. It's a wonder he's still sane.
