Put under a read more because DAMN THIS IS LONG AND SPOILERY.  Yet awesome.

The last reset - as in, what becomes the main timeline from then on - has him as having had glowing blue eyes whenever he summons Ccapac in a duel for at least a few resets by that point.  Events reach the point of his duel against Yuusei - however it's lead up to, it still happens - and Kiryu's got to the point where he's ready to just willingly lose so long as Yuusei listens, half wondering if all of his messing about with time is what makes things go wrong in the first place, and Yuusei...

He listens.  He actually really listens.  Not for the first time, but it's the first time when it actually makes a difference, because no one's dead yet, and they've still got a fighting chance.  And he realises what he's got to do.  Except the Crimson Dragon does not like it, doing the 'move all the birthmarks to one person' thing and ends up trying to possess Yuusei in order to get him to stop, but it fails - Yuusei FORFEITS.  A surrender.  He's seen too much of himself in Kiryu - that self-sacrificing nature that's crept in somehow, that self-blame that they both share - Yuusei for his parents being involved in Zero Reverse, Kiryu for all the doomed timelines.

Yuusei gets the other Signers to listen to him, and even though they're slower to trust their opponents, the fact that Kiryu's riding side by side with him (and in shock, because what the hell just happened he thought Yuusei was about to draw Saviour Dragon for a moment there) and the Dark Signers really are trying to do the right thing, they do the same.

This is where things get interesting.

For one, Rex never ends up becoming the Dark Signer of the Condor in this timeline.  For another, since no one's fighting?  The Hellgod reaches its destination.  It reaches the temple in Rex's home (sorry Rex but a god's gotta do what a god's gotta do).  Then Aiapaec is waking up and AWWW YEA HE'S FREE LET'S HAVE A PARTY but first.

One of the first things he does after fixing things up in a 'general' way, is talk with Kiryu and Ccapac.

"You've come a long way, Traveller.  Both of you."

Both of you?  People start getting confused, because by the way the God - Aiapaec - is talking, it's like both Ccapac AND Kiryu are the Traveller.  Oh, and he refers to Kiryu blatantly as 'kid', as in.  'Hey there, kiddo'.

Aiapaec reveals that Kiryu's pretty much more than halfway Ccapac, and states that 'The time for a new god has come'.  Kiryu obviously, given his attachment to Ccapac (only stable feature in 500+ years wat) does NOT like the sound of this, since Aiapaec is implying that there'll only be one left.  And that it'll be Kiryu.  Ccapac reassures him though, saying 'I will always remain within you', which is actually true.  But he also says 'You've been a traveller long enough that you should know that sometimes, you need to move on'.  And he means, moving on from looping, and from having Ccapac as a sort of safety blanket.

Then, when Kiryu finally gives the okay, Aiapaec sort of takes him in the godly presence or something, because the others can't see what's going on, only hearing (to them, rather worrying) things like 'oh, this is good!' and stuff like it and a lot of manic laughter, but once he's done, Kiryu appears, pushed out of the whatever-it-was like the robot girl in that game demo.  Because guess what Aiapaec sees him as a kid and he likes his kids.

Kiryu is now pretty much a God on Earth with a physical presence, although he's usually confined to a certain set of abilities, such as the ones he already had.  Some are intensified, some aren't, and he is neither omnipotent nor omnipowerful.  He's just the Traveller.  With a specialty in time.  Oh and he may joke to Yuusei and the others 'Pray for Kiryu-sama if you need me~' but it's.  True.  If they needed him specifically they could, actually, get him that way.  They're just as likely to tease him about it though.  (Cue Kiryu moaning 'Oh, the blasphemy D:', the dork)

Appearance-wise, he's pretty much like your average Crashtown Kiryu, but with the shorter hair, and he does indeed get the outfit later on.  When he's pissed off his eyes glow blue like blind!Kiryu's (reminiscent of Danny Phantom's glowing green when he's angry).  When he's really angry or using a lot of god-power, he could look similar to Ccapac-Kiryu of the Shaman AU.  But generally, he looks like a normal, living person.

Further on in the timeline, he goes lives up to his title and goes travelling, finds Crashtown, deals with it without needing Yuusei - since he's a god and he's not absolutely depressed and it's a mountain, he's got a home run.  He ends up living there and taking Satisfaction Town as a sort of second home.

And you know the BBT movie?  You know how the Crimson Dragon takes Yuusei back in time?  WELL DRAGON AIN'T HERE NO MORE.  Instead, we have a very pissed off time Traveller, who sees Judai and doesn't realise he's bowing and treating him with respect until Yuusei points it out, because the gods' power source if you will is the Gentle Darkness, and Judai is... the embodiment of the Gentle Darkness.  In a way, Judai is higher up on the ranking here.  Which actually freaks Judai out!  WOOHOO.

Later we also have the Crowning Moment of Awesome when Yuusei, Judai and Yugi have won their duel, and Kiryu - who'd been standing on the sidelines watching with narrowed, somewhat glowy eyes the whole time - comes over and picks Paradox up by the collar, and reems him out.

"Looks like someone didn't get the memo when I said that 'I've got it sorted'.  Now, I'm half tempted to scatter you piece by piece into different timestreams, and let the winds of the Vortex tear you apart... but I could just send you back to Z-One in pieces for him to put back together again.  Which would you prefer?"

Of course then we have Yugi turning rather wide-eyed at Yuusei and going 'That's your friend?!' because wow what.  Kiryu does end up sending Paradox back to Z-One, though.  No being ripped apart by the winds of the Time Vortex for you, Mr. Paradox.  Not this time.

BUT YEAH THIS IS TIMEFLIP'S FUTURE AND ISN'T IT AWESOME?
